Hi Product Hunt, I'm XuYi, the maker of Runnock.

I run coding agents (mostly Claude Code and Codex) in a terminal all day, and two things kept breaking my flow. An agent would sit waiting for a permission prompt in a window I wasn't loo
king at, and I'd come back ten minutes later to find nothing had happened. And I'd hit a usage limit halfway through a task with no warning.

The notch is the one piece of screen that's always in the same place and almost never used, so I made it the place where agents report to you.

What it does:
- Shows at a glance whether an agent is working, waiting for you, done, or failed
- Lets you approve or deny a tool call, or answer a multiple-choice question, right in the notch, without switching windows
- After each turn, shows how many files changed and by how many lines, and opens a diff
- Warns you at 80% and 95% of a usage limit, when it runs out, and when it comes back
- Also watches dev servers, builds, Git conflicts and deployments, and lets your own scripts push a status with `runnock alert`

A few things I care about:
- No account, no subscription, no analytics. Runnock only reads the events your agents report (tool name, a short summary with secrets masked) and it all stays on your Mac.
- One-time purchase. Free to download, it unlocks with a license key.
- It works on Macs without a notch too: it draws one at the top of the screen.

Honest limits: it needs macOS 26 or later and Apple silicon. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, Command Code, Devin, Qwen Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, pi and Kimi Code, but Claude
Code and Grok Build are covered in the most depth today, and the rest mostly show state and approvals. Cursor's CLI has a first, lightly tested version.

I'd love to hear which agent you use and what the notch should tell you that it doesn't yet. I'll be here all day answering questions.
