š» What makes you open Product Hunt?

After creating an account on Product Hunt, opening it slowly became a daily habit for me.
Checking new products, reading discussions, discovering what others are building...
One day I noticed thereās a āday streakā feature I didnāt even know about and honestly was surprised =D
After launching RunEvr, opening Product Hunt became even more exciting - now we're not only discovering products, but also watching our own journey and growth here.
Curious: what makes you the most come back to Product Hunt every day?
Is it:
⢠discovering new products?
⢠joining discussions?
⢠supporting makers?
⢠following trends?
Something else?

Started with me wanting to share my product callosium with the world, but then every time I open product hunt and see the products released everyday it makes me go "wow, there are so many bright people out there creating such cool things" and honestly as a tech nerd, its so exciting.
It is basically like going to disneyland for me.

@abdomkĀ ,,It is basically like going to disneyland for me,, HaHa =D
I just got an idea - what if PH @producthunt had a quote wall collecting the best comments and thoughts from the community? š

Itās really inspiring, especially if you love technology and innovation.
By the way, I really liked the concept of Callosium. And the landing page is cool as well, it already gives a strong impression!
When are you planning to launch it?
@producthuntĀ @adanaĀ free marketing for sure xD
I appreciate you taking the time to look at the website!
Planning it for the 31st of August~
RunEvr
@abdomkĀ Yes ! =))
Wish you good luck on your journey!
Being the first to discover tools that actually solve my own friction points is definitely the biggest draw for me!
As an indie dev, it's so easy to build in a vacuum. I actually come back here every day mostly for the discussions and supporting other makers. Seeing how other people present their problem/solution fit really helps me refine my own thinking.
For example, I recently built a local-first AI prompt wizard just to solve my own frustration with generic LLM outputs. Watching how other solo founders here launch utility tools like that has been a masterclass in how to communicate value without sounding like a marketer.
Plus, the day streak is definitely a sneaky but effective gamification hook! š

@lakshya_jaglanĀ Yes, Product Hunt is not only about discovering products, but also about learning how other makers think, position their ideas, and communicate their value.
I also think solving your own pain point is often where the best products start.
Are you planning to launch your AI prompt wizard or any other tools youāre building here on PH? Iād love to check them out!

Have you noticed your reasons foe opening Product Hunt change after launching RunEvr compared to before?
RunEvr
@aarav_pittmanĀ Yes! Before, I was mostly feeling a bit lonely =D
RunEvr was just a draft here, and I didnāt have many followers or people to share the journey with.
After the successful launch, everything changed.
Now I can discuss our ideas with the community, get valuable feedback, and connect with people who are also building something.
Product Hunt became not only a place to discover products, but also a place where I feel part of the maker community.
RunEvr
@tyler_esonoĀ Exactly! This community is about real things - creating, building, sharing ideas, and learning from each other.
And someoneās outside life is something Iād make disappear from this world š

For me it is always that excitement to see upvotes and people commenting/feedbacks so it can help improve my product and also trying to learn from other on how to improve my product's visibility that drive sales. This is my first product a small one but a genuine problem solver which i use on a daily basis.
