I built RunCoder because coding shouldn’t always require a laptop 📱

by

RunCoder started with a pretty simple thought:

We have powerful coding environments on our laptops — but what happens when the only device you have with you is your phone?

So I started building RunCoder, an Android coding workspace where you can write code, start from templates, manage projects and run programs directly from your phone.

I especially wanted it to be useful for students who are learning programming and don't always have their laptop nearby.

RunCoder launches on Product Hunt today, and the product is still growing.

I’d love to hear from developers and students here:

What would make you actually use a coding environment on your phone?

Features, frustrations, weird use cases — tell me everything. 👀
