Hi Product Hunt community!

I'm Hongyang, the creator of Routaroo (routaroo.org).

Like many parents, I realized mornings and bedtimes were turning into exhausting daily battles: repeating "put your shoes on", "brush your teeth", and "finish homework" ten times a day. Checklists felt like a chore for everyone, and traditional habit apps either lock everything behind aggressive paywalls, push distracting third-party ads to children, or penalize kids with stressful "broken streak" mechanics that demotivate them.

I built Routaroo with a very different philosophy:

Key Philosophy & Features:

1. Calm & ADHD-Friendly: Designed for children who easily get overwhelmed. No countdown clocks, no streak anxiety, and 100% ad-free.

2. Dual-Mode System:

• Kid Mode: Big, playful quest buttons, visual feedback, and fun space/fantasy themes.

• Parent Hub: One-tap quest approval, PIN-protected settings, and instant overview.

3. Star Economy: Kids earn parent-confirmed stars for completed quests and redeem them for meaningful family rewards (extra bedtime story, choosing weekend activities, playground time). It teaches delayed gratification and real goal-setting.

4. Physical + Digital: We also provide free printable chore chart templates at routaroo.org for families who prefer a paper-first approach.

Current Status:

Routaroo is currently in open testing on Android. You can try the full experience with a 7-day free trial.

I'd truly love your thoughts:

• What routines or chore habits do you struggle with most at home?

• For parents and teachers: What visual cues or reward mechanisms work best for your kids?

Thank you so much for checking out Routaroo! Excited to hear your feedback and answer any questions!
