What I’ve been working on for Room Service 3.0
Been working on this update for a while, and I wanted to share what’s new in 3.0.

Git Sweep is probably my favorite addition. It shows the work that hasn’t left your Mac, including uncommitted changes, unpushed branches, and stashes across your projects. Everything is read-only. It’s there to help you notice things, and you decide what needs attention.

Process Reaper looks for dev servers and watchers you might have forgotten about. It never stops anything automatically, and if you’ve intentionally left a server running, dismissing the finding is remembered across restarts.

Local HTTPS is the third big addition. You can create certificates for localhost and copy setup snippets for Vite, Next.js, or Caddy straight into your server config.
There’s also a lot of smaller work in this release: smoother scrolling, a rebuilt Duplicate Finder, process exit notifications, and a hidden files toggle for Finder.
If you’ve been using Room Service, I’d love to hear which parts you find useful and what still feels missing.
