I built an AI assistant. What would you actually trust AI to do for you?

by•

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm the creator of ROMVI, an AI assistant I've been building to help with everyday life, work, and family.

While building it, I've realized something interesting.

We're getting better and better at making AI answer questions, write text, and generate content.

But I'm not sure we're getting equally good at making AI genuinely useful in everyday life.

And there's another question: how much control are people actually comfortable giving AI?

For example:

  • Would you let AI organize your day automatically?

  • Manage your calendar and remind you about things you forgot?

  • Remember personal details to give better advice?

  • Help coordinate family responsibilities?

  • Take actions on your behalf, or would you rather approve everything first?

I'm curious about two things:

What's one everyday task you'd happily hand over to AI?

And what's one thing you'd never trust AI to do for you?

I'm asking because I'd rather build something people genuinely need than keep adding features just because they're technically possible.

Really interested in hearing different perspectives.
