Ritmo 2.0 - Capture, Analyze & Organize Browser Audio
by•
Ritmo 2 is a major overhaul of the browser audio tool for capturing, analyzing, and organizing audio directly from browser tabs.
The update introduces a rewritten BPM/key DSP engine, real-time audio FX, searchable sound library management, a scale-aware Virtual Piano, and a redesigned interface.
Everything runs fully locally in the browser. No uploads, cloud processing, or accounts required.

Ritmo
Originally built the first primitive version of Ritmo for myself back in 2023 after getting tired of how complicated it still was to grab sounds from browser tabs, analyze BPM/key, and organize samples while producing or editing.
Virtual audio cables, routing setups, sketchy converter sites, separate tools, cloud-based analyzers, etc.
At first it was just a small local browser audio utility, but over time I kept refining and expanding the workflow with things I personally wanted to exist.
This overhaul introduces a rewritten DSP engine for BPM/key analysis, searchable sound library management, verification tools, real-time FX, and a scale-aware Virtual Piano for quick harmonic checks by ear.
One of the biggest priorities from the beginning was keeping everything local, instant, and browser-native.
No uploads.
No cloud processing.
No accounts.
Would genuinely love hearing feedback, feature ideas, or workflow suggestions from other producers/editors here.
