Reminisce Memorial - Gather memories, Create a lasting tribute

by
When someone passes, families create a memorial in the app and share a join code. Anyone can add photos and videos, each with a comment, no account needed. The organiser handpicks their favourite photos and clips, chooses a soundtrack, and the app generates a tribute video. Play it at the service or wake on a TV or projector, then tap once to notify everyone who contributed so they can watch it in the app. Every memory, gathered and turned into something lasting to return to time and time again.

Hello everyone, I'm Mike, a solo dev from the UK. Two years ago I lost my best friend. After the funeral everyone's photos and stories of him were scattered across camera rolls and group chats. It bothered me for ages. They should live somewhere, together. So I built this. It's pretty simple. You create a memorial and share a join code. Friends, family and attendees can add their photos and videos with a comment, no account needed. Then you pick your favourites and the order you want them to appear in, choose a soundtrack if you want one, and then ther app makes a tribute video you can play at the service or wake on a TV or projector. After that, one tap sends it to everyone who contributed so they can watch it on their own phone right there and then, or download it to watch again later. Creating a memorial and collecting memories is free. There's a one-off unlock for the tribute video. Happy to answer anything, I'll be around all day.

The no account thing for contributing is honestly such a relief during an already overwhelming time. Curious how the soundtrack selection actually works, like do you pick from a library or upload your own?

Thanks Caner. It was one of the first decisions I made. Nobody should have to sign up for an account just to share a memory. On soundtracks, right now the organiser picks from 5 licensed tracks, or can go with no music at all. I'm adding more licensed tracks at the moment, and I'm also working on letting people upload their own music. However I'm being careful with the issues around copyright and track ownership. Out of interest, what would you want? More tracks to pick from, or the ability to use a song that actually meant something to the person?
