Hey Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Relay. Video editing comes with plenty of work outside the timeline: tracking deadlines, keeping client feedback together, knowing what’s ready to deliver, and remembering which payments are still due. I built Relay to bring that work into a workspace designed around video projects. Each project connects to its client, deliverables, workflow stages, and review process. You can explore the sample workspace, start locally without an account, or sign in to sync your work. I’m launching Relay for the GPT-6 Astra Challenge. Astra helped me build and iterate on the app, while I directed the product and design decisions. This first release focuses on the Free plan. There’s still more to improve, and I’d love feedback from editors trying it with real projects. What’s the hardest part of managing your editing work outside the actual edit?
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

Astra helped me take Relay beyond an idea and helped me build a connected workflow for freelance video editors: projects, clients, deliverables, feedback, and payment tracking. It helped me work across the interface and backend, iterate on the design, and investigate bugs as the product evolved. That made it practical to tackle more of the workflow within this launch. I directed the product scope and design decisions, while Astra helped turn those decisions into working code. The result is a deployed free release that editors can try with real projects. The ambition now is to learn whether Relay can become part of their daily work.
