Relay - Free, lossless file transfer. No upload, no storage.

by
Relay is a browser-based parcel locker for files. Choose one or more files and share a short pickup code, link, or QR code. The recipient opens Relay in any modern browser—no app or account needed. Files keep their original quality and stream directly over WebRTC when possible; Relay never stores them. An encrypted relay is available only when a direct connection cannot be made. Free and open source across Windows, macOS, iPhone, and Android.

I built Relay after repeatedly running into the same small problem: moving a large original file between Windows and Apple devices should not require installing an app, signing in, or uploading it to cloud storage first. The idea is closer to a parcel locker than a cloud drive. The sender keeps the page open, shares a short pickup code, link, or QR code, and the recipient collects the files directly. Nothing is compressed and Relay does not keep a copy. I would especially value feedback on whether the pickup flow feels obvious, how well it works across your devices and networks, and whether the privacy explanation is clear enough.
