Hi everyone! I'm the solo developer behind Recollect. I started building Recollect because I was tired of constantly losing useful information across browser tabs, bookmarks, notes, and AI chats. Existing tools either lock your data into the cloud or focus on note-taking instead of actually helping you find what you've learned. Recollect is a local-first, AI-powered personal search engine designed to help you search, organize, and reuse your knowledge while keeping your data under your control.
