We realized businesses don’t have a lead problem. They have an “answer the phone” problem.

by

I’ve been building Reception AI, and we started with a surprisingly simple observation:

A local business can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars getting the phone to ring…

…and then lose the customer because nobody picked up.

So we asked:

What if the first person answering the phone was always available?

Reception AI is a web application that gives businesses an AI receptionist capable of:

📞 Answering calls 24/7
🗣️ Having natural conversations with callers
📝 Capturing customer/lead information
📅 Booking appointments
💬 Sending confirmations
📋 Providing call transcripts

But here’s the part I’m most interested in:

I don’t want to build another AI tool that looks impressive in a demo and gets abandoned after a week.

I want to know what would actually make a business owner trust an AI to answer their phone.

Would it be:

A) Never missing a call
B) More booked appointments
C) Natural conversations
D) Easy setup
E) Something else?

If you run a local business or agency, tell me what would make you trust an AI receptionist with your customers.

I’m building Reception AI around the answers.
