ReadScore - Make any web page easier to read without changing it

by•
ReadScore makes the pages you already read easier to read, right from Chrome's toolbar. Focus highlights one paragraph at a time, moving with J and K or following your scroll. Comfort adds WCAG text spacing, the Atkinson Hyperlegible font and a minimum text size without changing the layout. Calm stops animations, pauses background videos and blurs large images until you hover. The modes work alone or together, and ReadScore only runs on a page after you open it there.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Kaan, the maker of ReadScore. The web is hard to read for a lot of people: readers with dyslexia, ADHD, low vision or motion sensitivity, and anyone reading for hours. Tight spacing, small text, autoplaying videos and constant animation make it worse. Reader modes help by stripping the page, but then you lose the layout, images and context. I wanted something that adapts the page you're on instead of replacing it. ReadScore has three modes you can combine: Focus highlights one paragraph at a time, so it's easier to keep your place. Move with J/K, or let it follow your scroll. Comfort applies the WCAG text spacing values, the Atkinson Hyperlegible font and a minimum text size without breaking the layout. Calm stops animations, pauses background videos and blurs large images until you hover over or Tab to them. If you use assistive tools or have specific reading needs, I'd especially love your feedback: what helps, what doesn't, and which sites it struggles on. Thanks for checking it out!
