Ten pages, one focus keyword
by•
One of the first problems we had to solve in RankBotAI wasn't writing a good meta description. It was picking focus keywords across a whole site.
When pages are optimized one at a time, the most obvious keyword for each of them is often the same one. That's how a site ends up with ten pages competing for one query. So before the plugin picks a focus keyword, it checks which ones are already used on the site, and every page gets its own.
How do you find keyword cannibalization on your own site? Search Console, a spreadsheet, a plugin, or you only notice when rankings start jumping between two URLs?
