The tool was born out of daily frustration. The creator (a web developer from Rajasthan, India) kept receiving old KrutiDev files for official work — letters, applications, notices — that would completely break when copied anywhere outside Windows. Existing converters were either outdated, slow, privacy-risky, or didn't handle full Word documents. After trying (and failing) with dozens of tools, he decided to build one that actually works the way real users need: fast, private, bidirectional, and document-friendly. What started as a personal fix grew into a free tool now helping hundreds of Hindi typists every month.
