Hi everyone, maker here.

The main idea is the Quiz Object Standard (QOS). It’s a strict JSON format for one quiz, and I designed it for AI from day one. Ask any AI chat for a quiz, paste the JSON into Quizbun, and start learning. If the AI gets something wrong, Quizbun shows the exact path to the mistake. You paste that error back into the chat and the AI fixes it.

If you use agents, you don’t have to copy and paste:

  • Claude plugin: `run claude plugin marketplace add a-dev/quizbun`, then `claude plugin install quizbun@quizbun`. Run `/quizbun:create-quiz` and name a topic. If Claude has browser access, it saves the quiz to your library. If it doesn’t, it gives you a file that opens the quiz in Quizbun.

  • Skills for other agents: `npx skills add a-dev/quizbun --skill create-quiz --skill quizbun`. create-quiz writes and validates the quiz, and quizbun opens it in the app.

Every question comes with an explanation, and you read it as soon as you answer, whether you got it right or wrong.

Quizbun has no backend, accounts, or analytics. Your quizzes and progress stay in your browser.

The standard has no presentation fields, so is only one cover for it. I kept that cover plain on purpose. A CLI or a mobile app could show the same file. If you build one, I’d love to see it.
