🎆 Launching July 4th: A Closer Look at Agentic Rooms in Qik Office

by•

As part of our Qik Office launch on July 4th, I wanted to give the community a closer look at one of the features I'm most excited about: Agentic Rooms.

A big reason we built Qik Office was to solve the loss of context that happens as work moves between chats, docs, meetings, and tools — every handoff drops a little bit of the story. Agentic Rooms are our answer to that.

An Agentic Room is a persistent, context-bound space where AI agents and team members operate over a shared state. Instead of context living in scattered threads, everything relevant to a piece of work — conversations, tasks, files, and decisions — stays within a single scope. When someone shares a file, schedules a meeting, or mentions a teammate, it becomes part of the room's continuous memory rather than an isolated event.

What makes this different from a typical channel or project board is that an AI Project Manager lives inside the room alongside the people. It understands the room's goals, tracks progress, and turns ongoing activity into structured artifacts like summaries and action items — automatically. The result is a workspace where the AI isn't a separate tool you switch to, but a participant that shares the same context as the team.

We're launching on July 4th and would love your feedback ahead of it: in your own teams, where do you lose the most context today? Drop a comment below 👇
