I was inspired by a simple observation: financial analysis is scattered, but the decision is not. Teams work across spreadsheets, dashboards, data platforms, emails, documents, and video calls. The information is everywhere, but the people making the decision often lack one shared environment where they can analyze, discuss, collaborate, and reach a decision together. That led me to build Purifi as a collaborative intelligence layer for finance — a shared canvas where people can bring their data, work with AI, analyze information, and collaborate in real time, including through video. The approach evolved significantly while building it. I initially focused on AI and financial intelligence, but over two years of building, testing, and listening to users, I realized the bigger opportunity wasn't simply to build another AI tool. It was to rethink how financial teams work together. That led to the combination of AI, connectors, shared analysis, and real-time collaboration that Purifi is becoming today. The analysis is scattered. The decision is not.
