What is your biggest UX mistake?

Title: What’s the biggest UX mistake you’ve made in your own product?

One thing I’ve learned while building PulseMarkt is that features I thought were obvious weren’t always obvious to other people.

It’s easy to spend weeks polishing functionality while overlooking something simple like navigation or terminology.

I’m interested in hearing from other makers.

Looking back, what’s a usability issue that surprised you?

• Something users struggled with that you never expected?

• A feature you eventually removed?

• A design change that had a much bigger impact than you thought?

Those kinds of stories are usually more valuable than generic UX advice.
