What self-experiments would you actually want to run?
Just launched Protocol — an app for running structured
self-experiments on yourself.
Not a habit tracker. The difference:
Habit tracker → did you show up today?
Protocol → did it actually change anything?
Here's how it works:
1. Pick an experiment (or build custom)
2. Capture your baseline metrics on Day 0
3. Log a 2-second daily check-in for 14–30 days
4. Get a verdict — keep it or drop it, backed by your data
What I've tested personally:
- Cold showers 14 days → Energy +42%, Mood +35% ✅ kept
- No sugar 21 days → Sleep +14%, Cravings -63% ✅ kept
Currently 15 built-in protocols: cold showers, no sugar,
phone-free mornings, deep work, sleep optimization and more.

Curious what experiments IH makers would actually run?
What would you measure to know if something worked for you?
