Building Profspect to end the weekend-long course-planning scramble (early feedback welcome)

by•

Hi everyone, I'm Carter, the maker of !

A quick bit of why I'm building this. I'm a community college student planning a transfer, and every term, picking my courses turned into a weekend of cross-referencing RateMyProfessors, Reddit, the catalog, and articulation guides, and I'd still end up guessing. The information was all out there. It just lived in ten different tabs and was never organized around what I actually cared about.

Profspect does that work for you. You tell it your school, your major, your goals, and the courses you're weighing, and it researches the public record and hands back a scored, source-linked report with a term-by-term plan. Every claim links to where it came from, so you can check it yourself.

I'm launching here in a few weeks, and right now I'm running a small free pilot because I'd rather learn what actually helps than guess at it. If you've ever lost time to course planning, I'd love your take on two things: what made it hardest for you, and what would have actually saved you time? And if you want to try it, you can request a pilot spot in the .

I'll be reading and replying to everything here. Thanks for taking a look.
