How would you spend it?

You're given one extra hour every workday.

You can't use it for meetings.

How would you spend it?

๐Ÿ‘‡ Curious to see everyone's answer.

Honestly, Iโ€™d probably read or just think.

Not every free hour has to become another productivity block. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your work is to stop pushing, let your brain breathe, and come back with better ideas.

ย Awesome! Thanks for sharing

ย I am completely there with you, not every hour needs to be about doing something. Sometimes, the break is absolutely necessary.

If meetings and routine admin tasks are completely off the table, I would dedicate that hour entirely to upskilling and learning. Whether itโ€™s diving into new industry trends, researching workflow automations, or mastering a new tool, an hour of focused learning every day yields incredible compound interest over time!

ย Sounds great!

Iโ€™d spend it on deep work without notifications.

Not meetings, not admin, not catching up on messages just one focused hour to build, write, debug, or think clearly about the next important step.

Most days, one uninterrupted hour is more valuable than three scattered ones.

ย Sounds great! Thank you

Iโ€™d probably just use that 1 hour for deep work on stuff that actually moves things forward, like fixing small bugs, improving UX, or those tasks I always keep postponing :)

ย Cool! Thank you

Honestly I think I would just use it to unwind. You reach a point where you are doing too much and that makes you less effective. More recovery time is probably the thing I need the most. It would be hard to have the discipline to enforce that though...

ย I agree! Thank you

For me I will spend it with my family

Honestly, I would use it to just exist, be present.
Be with my own thoughts for an hour.

I would go back to my love for reading.
I have a TBR pile, and this one hour solves it.

Probably spend it finishing small tasks that always get pushed aside.
