Prandi - Nutrition tracking for your goals, not calories.
Most nutrition apps make you count calories, then leave you to figure out what any of it means for what you actually want.
Prandi flips it. Tell us about you - age, sex, lifestyle, activity and pick a goal - muscle gain, fat loss, youthful skin, hormone balance or energy & mood. Snap a photo of your meal, and Prandi shows how it moves the nutrients that matter for your specific goal, against targets that are personalised to you.
No calorie counting. No score. No streak. No pressure.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm El, the designer and builder behind Prandi. Two things led me here.
First: I've spent years in the health and nutrition space, including time at ZOE and working closely with doctors and nutritionists. The same request kept coming up from users: "can you just tell me what to eat for what I actually want to achieve?" For a long time the honest answer was no, not really. AI has changed that.
Second: for a few years I was lifting consistently, getting stronger on every metric, and seeing barely any muscle growth. (Yes, yes, women have lower testosterone and muscle gain is harder. I know.) But something still felt off, and the more I dug in, the more I realised I was tracking the wrong things. Calories and macros aren't what anyone actually wants to know - they're a proxy for a goal. So I thought: why not start with the goal? Muscle gain was mine, but the same problem applies whether you're after clearer skin, steadier energy, fat loss or balanced hormones. The nutrients that matter are completely different for each, and no app was treating them that way.
That's Prandi. Pick one of five goals: muscle gain, youthful skin, energy & mood, hormonal balance, fat loss - snap a photo of your meal, and you see how it moves the nutrients that matter for your goal, against targets personalised to your body (no more working out "1.6g protein per kg" yourself). Each meal adds to the picture, and over time you start to see patterns - where you're consistently falling short and where a dietary tweak or a supplement might help.
A salmon bowl reads differently if you're after hormone balance vs muscle gain. The nutrient priorities are built from current research - not just government guidelines, which can lag years behind - combined with what I learned working alongside clinicians.
I've been user-testing the early prototypes on myself. Latest from someone now eating with a goal in mind: my most recent DEXA scan put my leg muscle in the top 20% for women my age, my biceps are finally getting round and I can deadlift 1.2x my bodyweight. The six-pack remains theoretical, but I'll keep you posted. 😅
Built in React Native, with Claude doing the meal vision and nutrient mapping against goal-specific schemas. Genuinely keen for feedback, especially if you've bounced off other trackers. What made you quit?
