Rethinking Personal Knowledge #09 Why search shouldn't depend on remembering the right keyword?

Most search engines assume you remember the right keyword.

But personal knowledge rarely works that way.

You remember a topic.

A meeting.

A company.

A screenshot.

A conversation.

Not necessarily the exact words.

While building PouchVerse, I've been rethinking search from the opposite direction.

Instead of waiting for you to type the perfect query, imported information is connected and indexed in advance, so retrieval depends less on perfect memory and more on context.

Maybe the future of search isn't faster typing.

Maybe it's needing fewer keywords in the first place.
