Traditional file systems expect every file to live in exactly one place.

But real life rarely works that way.

A travel receipt can belong to travel, taxes, work expenses, or all of them at once.

Every time we decide on a folder, we're reducing information to a single dimension.

While building my own personal knowledge system, I started asking a different question.

What if files didn't need a single location at all?

Instead of organizing everything into one folder, information can be connected across multiple contexts and discovered from whichever path you remember.

The goal isn't to eliminate organization.

It's to stop forcing people to make impossible choices before they can save something.
