Hi Product Hunt! I built Poople Answer for a specific moment in a word ladder: you’ve already made a few moves, and now you’re stuck. I found Poople players on Reddit asking how to continue after reaching words like DODO or APPS. One player only needed a suggested next move to get going again. Another shared a long route from APPS and asked whether a shorter one existed. Players also ran into words that seemed valid in English but weren’t accepted by the game. Poople Answer is my attempt to help at each of those points. Enter the four-letter word currently on your board to find a shortest remaining route to POOP. If you want less help, reveal a hint in stages: the position to change, the replacement letter, then the next word. You can also check the word list, view the full daily answer when you choose to, and browse past puzzles. The solver runs in your browser. This is an independent fan companion, with no signup required and no affiliation with Poople. I’d especially like feedback on two things: at what point does a hint become a spoiler, and is it obvious that the solver works from your current word, not only the day’s starting word?
