I built a bankroll risk calculator for poker players — feedback welcome

by•

Know whether you're winning at poker for $10!

I've always found it hard to answer questions like:

  • How much bankroll do I actually need for the risk I'm comfortable taking?

  • What's a realistic range of outcomes over the next year?

  • How bad could the drawdowns get?

  • What's the probability that I actually reach my bankroll goal?

  • How much does my win rate / variance / volume change the picture?

So I built Poker Bankroll Risk Engine to answer those questions with actual simulations rather than just a generic bankroll rule.

You enter your bankroll, weekly hours, target bankroll, and session history, and it calculates things like:

📈 Historical win rate & variance
🎲 Theoretical risk of ruin
💰 Required bankroll for your chosen risk level
📊 95% confidence intervals
🔮 10,000 simulated one-year bankroll paths
📉 Potential peak-to-trough drawdowns
🎯 Probability of reaching your target bankroll

I built it primarily for live NLHE players, but I'm interested in seeing how useful it is for other formats too.

Try it here:

It's a $10 unlock for the full analysis. Let me know if there are any problems with the website functionality.

I'd especially love feedback from people who have enough session data to compare the simulation against their actual results.

What would you want a poker bankroll calculator to tell you that existing calculators don't?
