A prelaunch of a prelaunch...so this is released in 2016? 2017?

We're launching the Kickstarter tomorrow, with shipping expected this summer.
Why not go on PH tomorrow then?

Point is quite different from Nest. It's meant to keep an eye on many aspects of your home, and let you know if anything is wrong. In that respect, it's designed for when you're away, rather than when you're at home.

Grr! Too late to be the one to add Point, but I love the product. Should be perfect for everyone to the semi-pro AirBNBers to ordinary people that just want to share their space occasionally. Congrats to the team to almost hitting your goal so quickly!

Great value product. I've bought 5 for my homes and parents. We use to monitor temperature, humidity and sound. Great to monitor when people come and go or that your old grandparent is ok.

Pros:

Low cost, non-intrusive alarm and home monitor

Cons:

The alarm doesn't work if the wifi is off
