PlanHourly - Your planner shouldn't make you feel worse

by
PlanHourly is a minimal daily planner for people who've tried and quit every productivity app. It only shows three days — yesterday (read-only), today, and tomorrow. No backlog, no overdue badges, no weekly views. Just a clean visual timetable you can plan in under a minute. Built by a solo founder who lived the guilt cycle and needed something simpler.

Hey everyone! I'm Kenneth, the solo founder of PlanHourly. I've tried every productivity app out there — Notion, Todoist, ClickUp, Asana, Things 3 — and I quit all of them. The pattern was always the same: start strong, fall behind, watch the backlog grow, feel guilty, stop opening the app, find a new one. I don't know if it's ADHD or a discipline problem. But I know that every planner I used made me feel worse over time. Overdue badges, red notifications, a list that only grows — these things were supposed to help me, but they just became daily proof that I was falling behind. What finally worked was radically simple: just focus on today. Don't look at last week. Don't plan next month. Just look at the hours in front of you and make them count. PlanHourly is built around that idea. It only shows three days — yesterday (read-only), today, and tomorrow. No backlog. No overdue badges. Every morning, you get a clean slate. Drag your tasks into a visual hourly timetable, see what fits, and live your day. I built this with no coding background — just AI tools, stubbornness, and a problem I desperately wanted to solve for myself. Would love to hear if the guilt cycle resonates with you, or if you've found other ways to deal with it. Happy to answer any questions!
