I built Pixy because I got tired of a workflow that never made sense to me.
I'd build something in code, then open Figma and redraw the same screens, because that's the "correct" way to design. Every change after that meant keeping two versions of one product in sync.
When AI agents showed up I tried Figma MCP, hoping it would close the gap. It was slow, and it still kept me one step away from the only thing I actually cared about: the live product.
Most design tools copy your product onto an abstract canvas and hand your developer or your agent a lossy interpretation of it. Pixy works the other way around. Your site is the canvas, and your code is the source of truth.
So there are no screenshots, no "make the heading bigger... actually a bit smaller... move it up a little bit."
You add a new element, point at it, change it, and the agent ships that change.
Pixy itself is now built 100% in Pixy.
Btw, the Claude Code integration is almost done and works as a beta now. You get the same chat and sessions you have in the Claude Code app, but inside Pixy, so you can design and talk to Claude Code without switching apps. Drop a comment here and I'll send you the install link for the plugin.
