Come and say hi live for 15 minutes: looking for the first hosts on Pixady
Hi everyone. I'm Michael, and I've built Pixady, an open mic for the internet. There's one live stage, one host at a time, and everyone on the site watches whoever's on.
It opens tomorrow, Thursday 1 October, at 6pm UK time, and I'd love the first few days to be full of friendly faces rather than an empty stage.
If you fancy trying it, book a 15-minute slot and just come and talk. You don't need a talent or a plan. Some ideas:
Tell us what you're building and why
Show off a hobby, a pet or your desk setup
Play a song, tell a joke or read something you've written
If you're a small streamer, practice in front of people who are actually watching
It's free. You go live from your browser, and there's a short break before your slot to check your camera and mic. The audience stays on the stage between hosts, so you won't be talking to an empty room.
Book a slot at pixady.com, or reply here with a rough time and what you'd talk about, and I'll sort it for you.
I'll be on stage myself at 6pm to kick things off.
It's a safe environment and is heavily moderated with good people ready to step in at any time. In the meantime drop by, hang out for a little and get familiar whilst we all eagerly wait for the main stage to open up.
Thanks!
