Hi Product Hunt 👋

I built Pivot because my Mac was always a pile of windows — editor, browser, Slack, a ChatGPT/Claude window — and every task switch meant dragging and resizing everything again.

Pivot groups windows by task:

  • Infinity Layout (free) — a scrolling workspace inspired by Niri. Each task lives in its own horizontal zone; scroll to bring the next one into focus.

  • Grid (free) — draw the region you want and the frontmost window fits it. If you miss Rectangle/Magnet-style snapping, this stays free.

  • Saved Layouts (free, unlimited) — save a window arrangement and restore it with a shortcut.

  • Auto Layout (Pro) — arranges every window on screen in one keystroke.

  • Smart Dot (Pro) — a dot appears where windows meet; drag it to resize the connected windows together, or rotate/swap/flip them.

It's native, notarized by Apple, and needs no account. Pro is $9.99 one-time (no subscription), with a 5-day Pro trial and no card required.

Honest feedback helps a lot — what's the one window annoyance you'd want Pivot to fix next?
