Hi everyone, PinNote is basically a sticky note for your lock screen. That's where the idea (and the design) comes from: those little colored post-its you stick on your desk so you don't forget stuff. I made it because I'm bad at remembering small things. Not the stuff I write in a notes app and never open again, but the quick things I actually need to see during the day. A code, a time, a "don't forget this." The one screen I look at all day is my lock screen. So PinNote puts your notes there, as Live Activities. You glance at your phone, the note is already there. You can reorder them, give them colors, and swipe them away when you're done. It started as a small thing I built for myself. Hope it helps you remember the little things too.

how does this handle battery drain with notes refreshing constantly in the background? curious if it actually sips power or if my phone will notice it pinned all day

the swipe to edit gesture feels so natural here, like it actually understands how people use a lock screen rather than just dumping a widget onto it. nice execution.
