PING is a simple to-do app for managing personal tasks and shared tasks with someone close to you. Connect through an invite code, add tasks together, and see updates when either person edits or completes a task. PING also includes due-date reminders, home and lock screen widgets, Live Activities for urgent tasks, and custom lock screen wallpapers. Available in 11 languages.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built PING because tasks shared through messages are surprisingly easy to lose. A quick “buy milk,” “make the reservation,” or “don’t forget this” often disappears inside a long conversation. Then someone has to ask again, and a simple reminder starts to feel like nagging. PING gives two people one shared to-do list. One person can add a task, and when the other person edits or completes it, both sides stay in sync. Personal tasks remain private, while shared tasks are visible only to the connected partner. While building PING, I also realized that a to-do app is not useful if people forget to open it. That led to lock screen widgets, urgent-task Live Activities, reminders, and customizable lock screen wallpapers. PING is designed for couples, friends, and families who want something lighter than a team collaboration tool. I’d love to hear how you currently manage small shared tasks, and what would make PING more useful for you.

shared to-dos with my partner have always been a mess of screenshots, so the simple invite code setup here was a nice surprise. Live Activities for urgent stuff actually seems useful.

The shared list with my partner actually works like you'd hope, no fiddling with permissions or extra accounts to set up. The widgets make it easy to glance at what's due without opening the app, which is the whole point.
