Does swipe-based discovery make investing research easier—or more impulsive?

by•

I’m building PinchStreet around a specific design problem: a blank search bar assumes a new investor already knows what to look for.

Our alternative is swipe-based discovery of stocks and ETFs, followed by plain-English context and a deliberate review step. The goal is discovery, not a recommendation and not a shortcut around research.

I’d value a skeptical product-design answer: what friction or information would you require so the interface helps people explore without pushing them toward impulsive decisions?

PinchStreet is pre-launch. Educational content, not investment advice. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
