Picmori - A pixel-art adventure where your photos are the levels

Picmori launched here in May as a plain swipe cleaner. Now it's a pixel-art adventure: a map of 10 worlds where every level is made from your own photos, one year, one colour, your longest videos. Swipe left to delete, right to keep, while Mori, a purple ghost, walks the road with you. Earn XP, open chests, dress Mori up and meet 8 gallery heroes. New in 4.1: music and sound effects. Photos never leave the phone. Free, no ads, no account.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Aleksandrs, an indie developer from Latvia.

Picmori was here in May as a plain swipe cleaner. It worked, but I still kept putting the cleanup off. My own gallery was full of screenshots and copies I never looked at. So I turned the chore into a game.

What's new in this version:
• Every level is built from your own gallery: one year, one colour, your longest videos. No two people play the same levels.
• A map of 10 worlds, each with its own chapters, a chest and an 8-bit tune.
• Mori, a purple ghost, walks the road with you.
• You earn XP, open chests, dress Mori up and find out which of 8 gallery heroes you are, from the Screenshot Hamster to the Lord of Clones.

The cleaning itself stays simple: swipe left to delete, right to keep, with undo, and nothing is deleted until you confirm at the end of the session. Exact copies and burst shots come as one group, and Picmori suggests which shot to keep by resolution, file size and favourites. Photos are analysed on the phone and never uploaded. No account needed.

What's free: the whole adventure, with no ads and no daily limit. Premium is optional. It removes the pauses between chapters and unlocks extra review modes such as Duplicates and Screenshots. Play the free version, and pay if it sticks.

I'd love to hear which level you'd want built from your own gallery.
