Perch is a simple tool that helps you capture the monthly value of your assets and liabilities, with the purpose of tracking your net worth over time and highlighting progress towards your goal. It doesn't focus on budgeting or stock tracking; so it doesn't require linking bank or brokerage accounts. Monthly snapshots can be done in-app using a ready-to-fill form. You can see detailed graphs showing your net worth over time, asset/liability distributions, and individual account performance.

I've been tracking my net worth month-by-month for a few years now. What started out as a throw-together spreadsheet to see my current numbers (at the time) turned into a routine check in that gave me a concrete answer to how I was progressing. I decided to create Perch (mostly for myself) as a formal platform for this. It's still the same process w/ figures & charts included; but now has a more clean look, dynamic views, and the flexibility to add polish w/ features like built-in reminders.
