Built a PDF bank statement to Excel/QuickBooks tool that works with Wi-Fi turned off
Whenever I needed to get old PDF bank statements into Excel or QuickBooks, two things always bothered me:
First, I hated uploading raw bank PDFs with my full account number and address to random cloud converter websites.
Second, generic PDF-to-Excel tools always put each page on a separate tab and mess up the number columns.
So I built https://pdfbanktoexcel.com to run 100% locally inside the browser. Once you open the page, you can literally turn off your Wi-Fi and drop your PDF in, so your financial data never touches a server.
It also checks the running balance math on every row to make sure no numbers got misread, merges multiple monthly PDFs into one sheet, and exports straight to Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.QBO), and Xero.
If you want to try it without uploading your own bank statement, there is a "Load Demo Statement" button right on the homepage. Let me know what you think or if there's a specific bank layout you want me to test!
