Pathmode - Review your coding agent's plan before it builds.

by•
Coding agents make product decisions while writing code. Pathmode brings those choices to your team before implementation. Review the agent's proposed spec in the browser, answer open questions, request changes, and approve a revision. The spec lives in your repository as intent.md, and pull requests are checked against its recorded decisions. Developers can start free with Preflight, a local readiness check with no account required.

Hi, I'm Janne, the founder of Pathmode. A coding agent proposes that cancelling a plan ends access immediately. The product manager knows customers have already paid for the month. She isn't the one running the agent, so she usually finds out after it's built. Pathmode puts the agent's proposal in front of her first. The spec lives in the repository as intent.md. She reviews it in the browser, asks to keep access until the paid period ends, and approves the revised version. The agent builds that version, and the pull request is checked against her decision. A later coding session that touches cancellations can find the decision and its reason. We launched here in April as a way to turn user evidence into specs. This is the job the product does now. For developers, Preflight is free: six readiness checks on intent.md that run locally in Claude Code or the command line, with no account. What product decision has your coding agent made that you wish it had asked about first?
