Hi Product Hunt! I built Udeler-Reborn out of absolute necessity. If you have ever tried to maintain a local backup of your purchased courses for offline viewing, commuting, or long-term preservation, you know the frustration. The legacy tools in this space have completely rotted and stopped working due to changing APIs and unmaintained codebases. Worse, many old forks cache sensitive account tokens in plain text. Rather than patching a broken foundation, I built Udeler-Reborn as an entirely modernized, zero-trust successor from scratch. What makes it stand out: - Zero-Trust IPC Audit Layer: Sequestered frontend renderer that screens all communication against a strict structural schema. - Local Encrypted Vaults: Login tokens are secured via system keychains and AES-256 local encryption, never hitting a third-party cloud. - NAS & Stream Optimization: Built for heavy storage nodes and external arrays, utilizing atomic file writes to prevent file fragment corruption. The project is completely free, tracking-free, and open-source across Windows, Mac, and Linux. I'd love to hear your feedback on the architecture!
