Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the founder of Parley, and I built it for my own meetings. I join a lot of international meetings, and my English isn't great. I tried a number of interpretation apps and none of them felt right, and I didn't want to buy special headphones just for meetings. Captions help you understand, but they don't help you *answer*. So I built my own: I just talk normally and the other person hears me in their language, while I hear them in mine. That's Parley: 🧠 **Powered by state-of-the-art large language models, keeping pace with the latest advances.** Two managed models are live today: Qwen and Doubao. 🎙️ **Two-way voice translation in your meeting app.** Your mic goes to the meeting translated; the meeting audio comes back to your headphones translated. Bilingual captions show both. 🧩 **Only you install it.** It shows up as a microphone and speaker, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet and other mainstream meeting apps. The other side needs no app and no account. 🗣️ **Your own voice.** Both managed models (Qwen and Doubao) include live voice cloning. No voice sample to record beforehand. 🎧 **Hear your own translation.** A translated-voice monitor in the meeting bar plays the model's translation of what you said into your own headphones (not your raw mic). Mix volume is adjustable, 15% by default, and it doesn't change meeting or system volume. 🏛️ **Venue mode for in-person events.** One speaker, several languages at once, each language on its own speaker or headphones. One-time $149 venue licence, then pay for usage. 💾 Caption history stays on your computer and exports to SRT. **Languages:** Qwen covers 60 input and 29 spoken output languages (Cantonese is input-only); Doubao focuses on Chinese ↔ English. Gemini and OpenAI are marked "coming soon" on the site, not available yet. **Pricing:** no software to buy and no subscription. Meeting translation needs no licence. Pay per session-minute from a prepaid wallet ($0.070/min with Qwen, $0.148/min with Doubao). Both directions count as one session. Try it with a one-time $1 starter top-up. Venue licence is $149 once; a personal API licence (bring your own Qwen/Doubao key) is $95 once. Preview offer: 20% off until November 1 (up to $50 in benefits per account). **Honest limits:** cloud translation needs internet; there's a one-time audio routing setup; delay depends on the model and your network, so it feels like working with an interpreter rather than talking directly. macOS 14.5+ and Windows 11 x64. I'll be here all day. I'd really like to hear what meeting app you'd use it in and which language pair you need. Reports of setup problems are especially welcome.
