Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Papyr after one too many times digging through my camera roll for a tax document or insurance policy I knew I'd scanned "somewhere." Every document app I tried either wanted an account before I could start, or processed my scans on a server I had no visibility into. Papyr does the recognition and categorization entirely on-device — Apple's Neural Engine reads and sorts your documents (tax, insurance, car, home, finance, etc.), nothing gets uploaded unless you explicitly turn on encrypted iCloud backup. It's also deeply integrated into Spotlight and Siri, so you can search your documents straight from iPhone search without opening the app. Free to try, Pro unlocks unlimited documents + backup for €1.99/month.
