Pakmo - Pack the school bag from photos of your kid's own books

by•
A school bag checklist for kids who can't read lists yet. Tomorrow's bag shows up as photos of their own books and notebooks; they tick each one as it goes in. Homework, "also bring" items, an evening reminder, class codes for teachers. Free, no ads.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a parent, and Pakmo started as a fix for our own evenings. The timetable and homework lived in the parents' chat, our daughter couldn't read "Maths: textbook, workbook" quickly, and something was always left on the desk. So in Pakmo the child sees tomorrow's bag as photos of her own books and notebooks and ticks each one as it goes in. When everything is packed, she gets a little celebration — and we stopped checking the bag every night. What's inside: • A timetable with a cover photo for every book and notebook • "Also bring" items (PE kit, money for a trip) live in the bag, not in a chat • Paste homework as it is — each line becomes a tick-box • A reminder the evening before a school day if the bag isn't packed • Works offline • Optional classes: a teacher shares a code, and homework appears in every child's bag No ads, no third-party analytics, free. Android, and there's a web version if you'd like to try it on a laptop. I'd love your feedback — especially from parents of 6–10-year-olds: what's confusing in the first five minutes?
