Paguely - Your blind date with a book. Mood-matched. Mystery first.

by
Paguely flips book discovery on its head. Instead of scrolling covers and blurbs, you answer a few mood questions and get a cryptic, atmospheric clue about your next read, no title, no cover. You commit blind, then it reveals. Beyond the reveal: a real reading life built in. Spine-view shelf, streak tracking, a mood-based reading DNA profile, and a community feed for sharing reveals. Built with Flutter, Supabase, and OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Merim, a solo dev from Sarajevo, and Paguely is something I built because I was tired of picking books the same way every app makes you: scroll a list, judge a cover, read a blurb that spoils half the plot. Paguely does the opposite. You answer a few mood questions, not genre or star rating, just how you're actually feeling right now. You get a cryptic, atmospheric clue about a book, no title, no cover. You commit blind. Then it reveals. It sounds like a small thing until you try it. There's something genuinely different about saying yes to a book before you know what it is. Beyond the reveal, there's a proper reading life built in too: a shelf with spine view, streak tracking, a "reading DNA" taste profile that's based on mood patterns rather than genre, and a community feed for sharing reveals. Built in Flutter, backed by Supabase, with OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini powering the recommendation matching under the hood. RevenueCat handles subscriptions. This has been months of nights and weekends, and I'd genuinely love to know: would you commit blind to a book based on nothing but a mood and a clue? Try it and tell me what your first reveal was, I'll be in the comments all day answering questions and taking feedback. Thank you for checking it out 🖤📖
