Pace is a voice agent for Apple Silicon Macs. It can transcribe locally, use optional screen context, plan on device, speak, and perform approved macOS actions. Off-device planning is opt-in, visible in amber, and recorded in a local audit log.

I got tired of assistants that either sent voice and screen context to the cloud or could not act on the Mac in front of me. Pace is the version I wanted to use. Hold Control and Option, speak, and let go. Pace can transcribe locally, read the screen when enabled, plan on the Mac, speak a reply, and perform approved macOS actions. Its default voice, screen, memory, planning, and speech path stays local. If you choose an off-device planner, the interface turns amber and records the event in a local audit log. I would like feedback on the first three turns: whether the response feels fast, whether the screen context is useful, and whether the action and undo flow feels clear.
