Love the background details on how they arrived at this style and new color. Like, to achieve this level of outward simplicity with so much technology in such a small package — is truly a feat of engineering.

you can still use the essential tracking features without a membership.
it looks like in order to get heart rate tracking you need a membership
I didn’t realize that the Oura ring was not perfectly round before! This looks super nice, still. The tagline is “Always wearable”, but you can’t wear it when listing weights or doing pull-ups, right? It would hurt. So it’s actually quite limiting.

you can — it's like any other ring in that regard... and it's actually quite tough. I've used it with dumbbells without an issue — though you're right, it may not be super comfortable!
hmm I take my rings off when I lift, even though they’re just 1 mm thick 😅 It hurts if I don’t, so I’m pretty sure I’d need to take the Oura off too…
