Hey Product Hunt 👋 I have ADHD, and every focus timer I tried made it worse. A number counting down is just a countdown to failure, and a hard app blocker feels like a punishment I want to escape. So I built the timer I actually wanted. In Orbit you set a length, and as you stay with it a tangle of line slowly untangles into color. The minutes feel like something you can see instead of a number you dread. If you need to stop, Deep Hold ends the session on your terms rather than one tap you might regret. While a session runs, the apps that pull you away stay shut. You pick them with Apple's own Screen Time picker, and ending the session always gives them back. Everything lives on your iPhone. No account, no ads, and nothing about which apps you shield is sent anywhere. Your first three sessions are free with no card. Orbit Pro makes them unlimited and adds app blocking, history, and insights. I would love to hear how you focus, and what would make this fit your brain better. I read every comment. 🌀

the line untangling as a reward is genuinely satisfying, and i love that nothing leaves my phone

thanks, that was partly the goal, to be extremely satisfing, simple & private

Would love to see a "soft start" mode where the timer counts down from like 10 seconds with the app already blocked, so I can't bail before the first minute even begins. That tiny commitment gap is usually where my focus sessions die.

love the improvement! I will add it to todo list when releasing next version, gracias!

if you have more ideas would love to hear about them, want to create best app possible

the untangling line concept is such a clever way to make progress feel visible, even when my focus keeps slipping. genuinely calming to watch during work sprints.

Hahah yeah, thanks! Had to use few braincells there

the app locking during focus is a really clever hook, would love a small "panic" pause option for moments when you genuinely need to reply to something urgent without losing your whole streak

love the idea, will include it in next version!!! <3

love the no account no ads approach and the untangling line visual is so satisfying. one thing that would help me a lot: a quick way to set different timer lengths for different task types since some things need 10 minutes and others need a full hour.
