AI filmmakers: what do you have to redo when one scene changes?

by•

Hi everyone — I’m Andrew, a maker of OptimAI Studio.

Generating a beautiful shot is one part of making a film. A harder problem is keeping the project together when you change that shot: character references, neighboring scenes, music, voice and the timeline.

We’re building a workflow where you can plan scenes with a creative agent, generate assets and refine the result in a browser editor. Ahead of our October 17 launch, I’d like to learn where creators still lose the most time.

Think of the last AI video you worked on:

• What did you change, and what else did you have to redo?

• Which parts would you let an agent handle automatically?

• Where would you want a preview or approval before it spends credits?

Here’s a short look at our agent-assisted editing workflow:

You don’t need to try OptimAI to join in. A concrete example from your current tools would be especially helpful.
