A reusable creative brief for film, music and a launch page
Hi Product Hunt — I’m Andrew, a maker of OptimAI Studio. We launched today, and I wanted to share something you can use even if you’re creating with other tools.
One brief can keep a film, its soundtrack and its landing page moving in the same direction. Here’s a small example:
“Create a calm, 20-second launch film for a meditation app aimed at busy first-time users. Warm sunrise light, gentle movement and an original instrumental soundtrack. The message is: a quieter start to your day. The landing page should carry the same mood and invite visitors to try one session.”
A practical sequence:
1. Lock the message first. Choose one audience, one promise and one next step.
2. Plan the film. Sketch four shots of roughly five seconds; define the recurring subject, palette and camera direction before generating footage.
3. Shape the sound. Decide the mood and pacing, then bring the saved track into the edit and adjust the cuts.
4. Build the page. Reuse the approved visual direction and message, with one clear call to action.
Keep the storyboard, individual clips, audio and page editable. Review the direction and credit estimate before committing to generation. A strong first asset is useful; being able to revise the whole project is just as valuable.
Brief template to reuse:
Audience / single message / outputs and duration / visual references / sound direction / next step / budget / what must stay editable.
Which would you make first: the film, the music or the page? Share a one-sentence brief and the part you find hardest to connect. I’d love to compare approaches with other creators.
