Our location-based polling isn’t just about collecting data it’s about surfacing the authentic culture of a neighborhood and bridging the gap to connect users in person. We ensure the human element, and real-world community, isn't lost to the algorithm.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m incredibly excited to launch Opinion today. Why I built this: I realized we are all trapped in our own echo chambers. As the internet increasingly turns into a sea of synthetic AI data, the genuine "human part" is getting lost. Today's social platforms allow the loudest voices to become the only voices, treating assumptions as facts. I wanted to break those echo chambers and give the average person’s questions the stage they deserve. How Opinion works: Think of Opinion as your personal bank for the present. We use location-based polling to bring out the authentic culture of an area. It’s designed to provide real, localized feedback and ultimately connect people in person over shared human sentiments. To make this work, we had to drastically change the rules of social media: 🚫 No followers & no following: Everyone's voice carries the exact same weight. 🚫 No comments: We eliminated the toxicity and noise of traditional feeds. 🚫 No repeated opinions: A strict focus on original, authentic thoughts. 📊 Numbers over assumptions: We bring hard data to what real people actually think right now. Opinion is a dedicated space to step outside your bubble and see what the real world is actually feeling, completely uncorrupted by algorithms or the loudest people in the room.
